Congress on Cardiac Problems in Pregnancy

WIN has a clear interest in the relationship between cardiology and gynecological health. It seems as though many others share in this interest as just last week the 2nd Annual Congress on Cardiac Problems in Pregnancy wrapped up in Berlin, Germany. Unfortunately, the congress took place at the same time as EuroPCR so the draw for interventional cardiologists in Europe was likely small, however, it exemplifies a growing professional interest in determining best pracices for the prevention and management of various pregnancy related cardiovascular conditions.

WIN has previously published blog posts on the cardiovascular links to hysterectomy, pre-eclampsia and of course its patient screening effort underway in partnership with Abbott Vascular. It is our hope to shed additional light on these subjects through educational and other professional forums as they so intimately relate to women’s health and the overall mission of WIN.
